  1. Whole grain foods such as steel cut oatmeal (besides being full of nutrients and antioxidants) are loaded with fiber, which helps keep you regular. Cleansing, feel-good living is about getting the crud out, so basically you want to avoid being bloated or constipated to have any success in finding your feel-good bliss!
  2. Full of nutrition. Steel cut oats are high in B-Vitamins, calcium, protein and fiber while low in salt and unsaturated fat.
  3. Instant oatmeal on the other hand is broken down into almost an oat powder so that it can cook so quickly. For the sake of convenience you basically lose all the nutrition in the oat.
